A well-known international designer and distributor of gift items, accessories, toys and gadgets, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator French to work in the Rotterdam office. High volume, fast-paced creative environment commands a self-starter who is hard-working, organized, detail-oriented and flexible.

Job responsibilities

  • Enter customer receipts in accounting system, including check remittances, lockbox deposits and credit card payments
  • Collections calls customers, and follow up as needed
  • Reconcile credit card receipts against invoices
  • Post authorized customer credits/chargebacks in timely manner to customers' accounts
  • Follow up with customers as needed to identify deductions from remittances
  • Assist Sales Coordinators in researching chargebacks, coordinating with Shipping and Sales departments as applicable
  • Reconcile warehouse receipts of returned merchandise against requested credits
  • Assist customer service with answering phones as needed. Promptly respond to customer and/or sales rep inquiries about orders, shipments, sales credits, and problems (e.g., damaged items, shortages and pricing discrepancies)
  • Assist customer service with obtaining missing credit card information
  • Other duties as assigned

Key requirements/attributes

  • Language: English and French fluent is a must
  • Must have prior experience in posting heavy volume of receipts accurately, and prior experience in collections
  • Must be highly organized and possess strong time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and complete multiple projects within deadline
  • Keen with numbers and details, but also able to analyze and see the big picture
  • Strong customer service and verbal/written communications skills, with professional phone manner for interacting with customers
  • Experience working with multiple currencies a plus
  • Ability to work in a friendly team-focused group and be respectful of employees of diverse and international backgrounds
  • Computer proficiency must include Word and Excel spreadsheets
  • Bachelor's level and minimum of three years of experience required

The start date is as soon as possible. The salary is between the € 3.000,- and € 3.300,- gross per month based on 40 hours per week, excluding travel expenses. The job is for 40 hours per week.
